Most of these problems are correctable with proper guidance and correct advice. It is advisable to get the medical examination done before SSB/Any Army-Navy-Airforce. Rejection on medical grounds is two types of TR (Temporary rejection) and PR (Permanent Rejection).
If you get TR, then you have the right to apply for an appeal medical board(AMB) for which you have to deposit. 40/- in SBI and you get 6 weeks & 14 Days for Soldier Recruitment, to correct the disability. You can also select the hospital where you want to get your medical done. Here the specialist will decide on your fitness and he will only see that point for which you have been given TR.
If you get rejected there also then another chance this is called Review medical board (RMB) for which you have to apply within 24 hours of getting TR. However, this is not your right it will depend on the discretion of DGAFMS if he thinks that some injustice has been done to the candidate or there is some merit in the case only then RMB will be granted.
In RMB the top Doctors of Armed forces decide your case and this is final. But one thing we can tell you that these Doctors are very lenient.
Now, what is PR.? It is if there is some serious disease for example- severe hypertension, heart disease like a hole in the heart, perforation in the ear, cancer or TB. Such big-big things which are unlikely that any of you would have. All others are temporary which are treatable conditions.
So better to Examine your self with all the Aspects. Elite Defence Academy has all the Facilities to Examine your Medically as per Defence Services Standards.
